Hong Kong's night view is famous for its glamour and beauty without a doubt. Its night view has already become a classic with buildings in all forms beaming beautiful lights, laser shows, and lush scenery. The night view from the ‘Tsimshatshui' seashore is one of a kind. However, the scene from Victoria Peak is spellbinding. It's as if you were embracing the whole world in your arms.

Victoria Peak is currently partly under construction. Many stylish and glamorous restaurants have opened since I visited the place two years ago, and of these is a restaurant called ‘Bubba Gump' within the peak tower. Beer, wine and a variety of shrimp dishes are served. However, the biggest feature is that the restaurant is covered with glass. You can enjoy your meal while viewing the night scenery. The price is very reasonable, making you and your wallet happy! Window sitting is highly recommended even if you have to wait. It's definitely worth it!
It’s not as glamorous as the view from Hong Kong, but has its own unique attraction of the view from Waitan Shanghai.
Shanghai, the first city to accept western culture is a place where East and West meets; where the past meets the present. The city is divided into Puseo and Pudong along the Huangpu River. You can gaze at the European architecture on the Puseo side and high rise structures with various designs on the Pudong side you can actually sense its appeal.
Waitan's night view is stunning thanks to the city's policy requiring buildings to have lights on until 11pm. The night view of the city combined with elegant view as in European cities and modern skyscrapers like Jin Mao Tower and
Oriental Pearl TV Tower radiates a unique charm unlike Hong Kong.
Personally I enjoyed the view from the Pudong overlooking the eastern part of the Pudong River similar to that of European cities. And the most comfortable spot where you can view this is at the Starbucks cafe located in the levee of the Pudong side across the river.
Outdoor seating was already filled and I was only able to get a seat at a nearby cafe. No matter where it was, it was enough to experience Shanghai's night view.
Chicago: home of the blues, you can't leave out blues & jazz when it comes to Chicago nightlife.
The John Hancock Tower Observatory, designed and constructed by the famous architect John Hancock, is located on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Tower standing 1,000 feet tall (more than 305 meters and 31 floors higher than the Daehan Building in Seoul, Korea).
It is open from 9am until midnight with an admission fee of $8.50 for adults and $6 for children ages 5 to 17. Children under 4 years old get in free.

One can not imagine what the experience is like overlooking the beautiful night view of the city from the window sitting and listening to the sound of jazz. Chicago's night scene has a sophisticated splendor in array. A serene beauty beams with the free flowing jazz and blues. The real attraction of this site is the women's restroom. One side of the wall of the room is covered with glass from one end to the other end of the ceiling. As you gaze out, it's as if you stepped into the beautiful starlit night sky.
There were a few brave men who have entered (with permission), so if you dare so, by all means do it! You won't regret it!
