More World - Class Carriers Join STAR ALLIANCE Network


From June 2, 2006, Asiana’s check - in counter at Narita Airport will be moved from Terminal 2 to a newly built South Wing at Terminal 1. Asiana will join fellow Star Alliance member carriers Air Canada, ANA, Austrian, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines, Singapore Airlines, THAI, and United at the new wing. The co - location at Narita makes this Asia’s first Star Alliance Terminal.

The Minimum Connection Time between international flights will be more than halved to just 45 minutes, down from 110 minutes previously. International to domestic connections will only need a Minimum Connection Time of 75 minutes compared to 130 minutes in the past, while domestic to international connections will take only 60 minutes.

The Star Alliance network is the world’s largest global airline network. This dedicated terminal continues its commitment to provide a smooth travel experience for passengers of all its 18 member airlines.
